Custom Light Up Shadow Box Framed Condor Flats Air Tours Pin Set

I created this shadow box myself and am quite pleased with the way it turned out. These pins were released in 2001 which is the year California Adventure opened at the Disneyland Resort. They are a series of pins in the style of 1930s-era travel posters tied to the Soarin' Over California attraction. This pin set is displayed in an led-lit shadow box elevated over a metallic printed image from the side of a building in the Condor Flats themed area across from the Soarin’ attraction in California Adventure, Disneyland Resort. This piece holds even more importance now as the Condor Flats themed area no longer exists and is currently themed as Grizzly Peak Airfield. The led light feature helps add the feeling of a runway which is pretty neat.

The four pin images have different types of classic airplanes flying over these four iconic California Adventure scenes:

• Twilight Paradise Pier

• Grizzly Peak

• Hollywood Pictures Backlot

• Golden Gate Bridge

Many of the scenes depict California Adventure attractions as they appeared in 2001 that are no longer there or have changed in appearance. Enjoy the slideshow below!
